Fruit Share Adelaide

Growers and Orchards

We bring a trained volunteer team to your orchard, farm or vineyard, pick your surplus at no cost, and get it to food relief organisations across Adelaide the same week.

Surplus fruit, picked and put to use

Every season, good fruit stays on the tree because it's outside spec, the price isn't there, or the labour is needed somewhere else. We'll bring a trained volunteer team to pick it, at no cost to you, and get it to food relief organisations across Adelaide while it's still fresh.

We've run 469 harvests and rescued more than 44,135kg of produce since January 2024, from single backyard trees to full commercial blocks in the Hills, McLaren Vale, the Barossa and the Adelaide Plains.

How a commercial harvest works

1

Tell us what you have

Crop, rough volume, when it needs picking, and the largest vehicle that can reach it. 2 minutes on the form below.

2

We plan the pick

We confirm dates with you, size the volunteer team to the block, and bring our own ladders, bins, crates and picking gear.

3

We harvest and load

Our harvest leaders run the day, brief every volunteer on your site rules, and leave the block as we found it.

4

It reaches people that week

The fruit goes straight to community kitchens, food pantries and emergency relief providers across Adelaide, usually within days.
